Wingtra Gives Away Drones for a Good Cause: The Wingtra Earth Day Challenge

VTOLdronecompanyWingtraislaunchingtheWingtraEarthDaychallenge–acontestthatwillseethecompanyawardthreewinnerswithWingtraOneGENIIdronesforenvironmentalandhumanitarianprojects.

Inordertoapply,participantswillbeaskedtodescribetheirprojectororganization,explainhowtheywouldmakeuseoftheWingtraOneGENIIdrone,andmakeacaseforwhytheirprojectdeservestowin.ApplicationsareduebyMarch31st,andninenomineeswillbeselectedbyaninternalWingtrajuryandannouncedonApril7th.WingtrawillthenholdapublicvoteoftheninefinalistsonlinkedInfromApril11thto21st,withthethreewinnerstobeannouncedonEarthDay,April22nd.

Wingtraencouragesentrybythosewhoarepartofanon-profitorganization,university,researchinstituteorgovernmentagency,whoseapplicationdirectlycontributestothegoodoftheplanet,whohaveaclearvisionofhowtheywouldusetheirWingtraOneGENIIandcanexplainitinpracticaldetail,whoagreetosharevideos,imagesandoutputs(orthomaps,pointclouds,etc.)withWingtraforcommunicationpurposesandagreetobeinterviewedabouttheirexperiencewiththeWingtraOneGENII,andwhocanmakethecompanybelievethattheywillbeabletodogoodforourplanet.
