日本软银25日公布一项技术,使用小型无人机探测灾害中被沙土瓦砾掩埋者的智能手机信号并锁定位置。据称可以连续飞行100小时以上,最大可探测到5米深处被埋的手机信号。未来考虑在各地消防署等采用,以协助尽快救援受灾者。

Japan's SoftBank announced a technology on Nov. 25 that uses small drones to detect the smartphone signals of the distressed trapped under dirt and concrete debris in a disaster and locate them. It is said to be able to fly continuously for more than 100 hours and can detect the signals of mobile phones buried at a maximum depth of 5 meters. It is planned to be adopted in the future at fire stations and other locations to help rescue victims as quickly as possible. 

该技术使用无人机上安装的天线捕捉智能手机发出的信号。在附近放飞与地面电源相连的辅助无人机,在空中通过电缆为搜索用无人机提供电力。使用2架无人机是为了防止电缆缠在建筑物和树木等障碍物上。

The technology uses a flexible wire mounted on the drone to capture signals from smartphones.Ancillary drones, which are connected to ground station will fly nearby to supply power by cable to the drones for searching in the air. The reason for making use of two drones are to prevent the cables from getting tangled in obstacles like buildings and trees.  

在千叶县内公开的试验中,2架无人机协同飞行,成功捕捉到4米深沙土下被埋的智能手机信号。  

In a public test within Chiba Prefecture, two drones flew in tandem and successfully captured the signal of a smartphone buried under 4 metres of sandy soil. 

手机通信使用的频段随不同公司而各异,目前无法锁定软银用户以外的智能手机位置。因此,据称还设想了利用终端无线上网技术WiFi的另一种探测方式。

The frequency bands used for mobile phone communication vary from company to company,so it is currently impossible to pinpoint the location of smartphones other than those of SoftBank users. Therefore, there is an alternative detection method, using WiFi, the end-to-end wireless internet access under conception.
